We're excited to announce the launch of FastFinder Analysis 4.15, Lab Management 1.15, Lab Engine 1.3 and Workflow 2.5.
This release of FastFinder Workflow brings support for NGS activities, such as quality and quantity checks, normalization and pooling, as well as a new set of instruments that are supported.
Workflow users are also provided with more insights via order duration and sample failure dashboards in the new release of FastFinder Lab Management.
This new FastFinder platform release also brings several improvements and bug fixes, as is described in the specific release notes of Analysis 4.15, Lab management 1.15, Workflow 2.5 and Lab Engine 1.3.
Improvements
- To support the introduction of protocols, test codes are used instead of request references
- Orders table is updated so that one row is available for each sample – order ID – test code/assay combination
- Improved visualization of the queues in lab overview. Instead of samples, it now indicates how many samples, tubes or plates are queued. If applicable, the flyover shows plates that can be expanded to see the relevant samples on the plate.
Fixed bugs
- Order ID is not automatically generated after trying to create the order when not all required fields are filled in
