General
We're excited to announce the launch of FastFinder Analysis 4.12, Lab Management 1.12, Lab Engine 1.0 and Workflow 2.2. For Workflow, we added the ability to archive runs and we made the split between two applications called Workflow and Lab Engine.
In Analysis we enhanced the QC module with additional features and added support for relative quantification analyses. Additionally, we have introduced a proof-of-concept feature that allows users to create Assay Plugins directly from the PCR setup screen (limited to a specific number of instruments). Furthermore, we have incorporated support for the Mic qPCR IVD instrument.
Lastly, the entire FastFinder platform has been updated with the new Velsera design.
As always, it is feedback from you that informs our roadmap, and allows us to keep improving FastFinder, so we want to thank you for your continued suggestions. Don’t hesitate to let us know how we can improve FastFinder even further.
For the specific release notes for Analysis 4.12, Lab Engine 1.0 and Workflow 2.2, see link.
Lab Management 1.12.4 (November 10, 2023)
Fixed bugs
- The issue where loading additional data points in QC tracking was not functioning as expected has been fixed.
- We have addressed a performance issue in LabEngine related to high memory usage when processing a large number of files quickly.
- The support email and release notes links are now up-to-date, providing easy access to the latest support and information.
Lab Management 1.12.3 (August 21, 2023)
Fixed bugs
- Assay plugins not visible in assay overview when they are imported for multiple instruments at once
Lab Management 1.12.2 (July 17, 2023)
New features
The Quality Control module has been reworked to facilitate the tracking of not only control samples but also quantitative standards and standard curve parameters.
QC data will be migrated when deploying to the latest version. The migration might take a bit longer than the deployment time, making some historic QC data unavailable for a brief time.
From this release on, QC data from authorized analyses will only be available in the Quality Control module if there is an active tracking for that data. It is no longer possible to add or view the data retrospectively if there was no active tracking.
Two additional Westgard rules, the 4:1s and R:4s rule, have been added to the options for flagging QC violations during Analysis.
Furthermore, it is now possible to define specific Westgard rules per QC tracking setup instead of applying them globally.
Additionally, you can extend the Analysis results CSV to output the RQ (relative quantification result) on target level (Target_x_RQ_perwell) and/or aggregated replicate result (Target_x_RQ). Lastly, when custom outputs are used in the assay, the result is output in AssayResultCustomOutputs field. For more information on the Analysis results CSV, see (link).
