Analysis 4.14.1 (03 MAY 2024)
In FastFinder Analysis, it is now possible to track (multiple) lots for controls, quantitative standards, standard curves, and reference samples.
In this release we also improved the PDF export, which now offers even more customizable options.
Finally, the ‘Mark for retest’ functionality has been rewritten to better align with FastFinder Workflow, . Instead of marking a sample for retest, you will now mark it as failed. Consequently, instead of choosing a retest reason you will select a failure reason. A failure reason can have three failure actions:
- Cancel with export: with this action, you can send a failure code to the LIMS. This action is identical to the previous ‘Mark for retest’ option in Analysis 4.13 or lower. Upon migrating to the new version, old retest reasons will be automatically converted to failure reasons. To prevent issues with connected LIMS, the CSV-export will keep using the old retest reason language.
- Cancel without export: with this action, you can cancel a sample within FastFinder, but it will not be included in the CSV export.
- Requeue to*: with this action you can requeue a sample to a previous activity.

Improvements
- In the PCR setup, you can now use right-click to perform actions on the plate.
- The number of Invalid, Detected, and Not detected samples is now shown on the PDF (identical to what Summary > Sample results title section).
- The summary section of the PDF now contains aggregated results instead of one row per assay result, reducing the number of rows.
- To improve visibility, an icon is now shown next to the assay result in the summary section of the PDF results.
- It is now possible to export graphs grouped per sample instead of the overall target graphs. Importantly, this only works for single plate analyses.
- Furthermore, it is now possible to configure which sample types (e.g. controls, quantitative standard) you want to include in the PDF export.
- The ‘Actions’ button in the authorized analyses has been renamed to ‘Exports’
- Several icons have been renewed
Fixed bugs
- Sample results table in the Summary may disappear when sorting and expanding rows. Refreshing the page solves the issue.
- Plate view is shown in the authorized Open Array analysis.
- Passive reference dye not visible in the graph in archived analyses
- Using formulas in the decision tree may prevent analyses from closing or authorizing
- Target names are empty in the curve selection box in Archive > Target results
- Open Array analysis should open the QC tab by default.
- Plate view was erroneously shown in the authorized Open Array analysis.
