Apart from the overview in both the Summary and Details, the results are also visualized in a plate layout. This can be an added value when analysing and reviewing the data.
For multiplate analyses, you can select your plate by clicking on the arrow.
By default, the results are shown on a target level (except for the internal control, which is turned off by default), displaying the individual results for all targets that are selected. If more than one target is selected, the heat maps are combined and show the results for all targets in a single view.
Depending on the Cq value of a detected sample, the shade of the red colour will be more or less bright. When a target is not detected, this is indicated by green colour.
Alternatively, the overall result, i.e. on assay target, can be visualized by changing the Target type to By assay result under Settings:
In this view, it will only be indicated whether an assay target is detected or not (red or green) within a well. If a sample has an invalid result, this will be indicated by an orange colour marked with an 'x'.
Failed samples, error and warning notifications can be visualized by clicking the Show failed samples, error and warning notifications button. This can be enabled on the heat map for both targets and assay targets and will overlay the result state.
Please note that only the notifications present on the selected level, i.e. target or assay target, will be displayed when this option is enabled.
An error notification is indicated by a red circle with an exclamation mark, a warning notification is indicated by a yellow circle with an exclamation mark and retest is indicated by a red circle with two arrows.
