Alerts in FastFinder Analysis can be set up via Westgard rules. They can be configured either per tracking (see Quality control), or for all trackings simultaneously.
To apply Westgard rules to all active trackings, a user with the admin role can access the qPCR Analysis settings by navigating to settings (for analysis-only users) or via Lab configuration - Workflows in the lefthand column, access Quality control (for FastFinder Workflow users) and apply the necessary changes to the Westgard rules.
Rules can be activated by toggling the button after which they will be applied to new analyses. You can choose if you want to implement one or more Westgard rules.
Available Westgard rules:
- 1:2s
- 2:2s
- 1:3s
- 10x
- 4:1s
- R:4s
Automatic Failure
You also have the option of using the automatic failure option in case when the Quality Control violation has occurred. When this option is enabled, all samples with a confirmed quality control violation will automatically be marked as failed.
1. Click the toggle to either enable or disable this feature.
2. Choose the failure reason. The failure reasons can be configured within the Workflow settings (Lab configuration -> Workflows -> Workflow settings).
3. Click Save to save the changes.
